FISH FOR SIGHT RULES

1. RULES:
The following rules for the tournament will be used. The Tournament Committee shall have sole authority to interpret these rules and to apply to all issues, disputes, questions, or controversies concerning the tournament.  All decisions made by the Tournament Committee concerning the interpreting or application of the rules or award of the prizes shall be final and not subject to dispute or appeal. 

2. ENTRY FEE:
$130.00 per boat, includes Big Bass. 1st big bass, 65% pot, 2nd big bass, 25% pot and 3rd big bass, 10% pot.  Only one Big Bass per boat. A weight will be chosen before the tournament and put in a sealed envelope. The weight will be written to the "hundredth".  The mystery weight will be revealed after the weigh-in and if big bass weighed the same amount, that boat will win $20,000.  Entries accepted only by mail until April 22, 2008. Entries after April 24, 2008 will NOT be accepted.

3. ELIGIBILITY:
A. All individuals, 18 years of age or older with paid entry fee, fishing partner does not have to be 18 years of age.
B. NO guides.
C. No individual who has earned more than $4,000 in money and or prizes within 12 months prior to entry date.
D. No person living within 25 miles of Truman lake more than three (3) months a year.
E. Prior years First Place winners are not eligible to fish this years tournament.


4. SAFETY & SPORTSMANSHIP:
Fishing practices and safe boating must be observed at all times. Life jackets and kill switches must be worn during take off. Life jackets will be worn while big motor is running. There will be no alcoholic beverages during tournament hours.

5. FISHING LOCATIONS:
Anywhere on Truman Lake with the exception of, within the no wake buoys of Bucksaw Marina. All areas declared off limits by the State of Missouri or the Federal Government this includes the cove were Eagle nest!

CULLING:Culling inside the host marina buoys shall be reason for immediate disqualification.

6. TACKLE & EQUIPMENT:
Only artificial bait or lures may be used. Pork style baits are allowed. No trolling. Rod and reel only.

7. SCORING:
Large mouth bass, spotted bass, and small mouth bass will be counted. Total stringer weight per team will determine place. Any bass under (15) inches presented at weigh-in will cause two pounds to be subtracted from total stringer weight plus the loss of the short fish. Five (5) fish per boat may be weighed in. Any frozen or iced fish presented or weigh-in will result in immediate disqualification. A half of one pound penalty will be deducted for each dead fish.

8. POLYGRAPH TEST:
Each contestant agrees by their signature on the application, to submit to a polygraph test. ANYONE FAILING TO PASS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. ANYONE REFUSING TO TAKE A TEST WILL BE DISQUALIFIED

9. PROTEST:
All protests must be submitted in writing and signed within 15 minutes after the total weigh-in completion.

10. LATE PENALTY:
Any boat checking in late will lose one pound per minute up to 10 minutes, then disqualified.

11. TIES:
All ties will be determined by FLIP OF A COIN.

12. NO REFUNDS:
Unless cancellation by Tournament Committee. Read rules carefully before entering.

13. TOURNAMENT MEETING:
There will be a Tournament Meeting Friday night, (not mandatory) April 25th at 7:00 p.m., at Bucksaw Marina. Complementary fish fry with Busch and Pepsi Cola at 5:30p.m.

14. PRE-FISHING RULES:
NO contestant is allowed to fish with a guide 5 days before the tournament
